No.21: The Belvoir Witches Challenge Walk

The Belvoir Witches Challenge Walk follows a circular route through the Vale of Belvoir - the area in which, during the 17th century, three witches were found guilty and burnt to death for using scorcery to murder Lord Rosse, the heir to the Earl of Rutland who resided at Belvoir Castle. The route starts and finishes at Bottesford. It passes through exceptional countryside, picturesque villages, woodlands and the Belvoir Castle estate.
